Best Practices Submissions Spring 2020
April 13
Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor

The submission process is now closed.  Those who have submitted will be notified by February 21.

For the Spring 2020 Conference, NAACOS is changing up the call for innovations and instead soliciting “Best Practice” submissions under three topics.  The conference will feature three 45-minute sessions where the chosen best practices will be presented.  Our goal is to share more of what ACOs do on a daily basis that really works so that all ACOs can benefit and improve their performance.

The three topics we are soliciting best practices on are: End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), Social Determinants of Health (SDOH), and Behavioral Health.

For the purpose of this solicitation, NAACOS is defining best practices as a process or set of procedures with demonstrated effectiveness in achieving a goal.  The submissions are in three parts, similar to the call for innovations: a problem statement, a description of the process, and the results. Successful submissions are generalizable to different sizes and types of ACOs.  If your best practice included the use of a vendor, you may mention that in the submission, however, the submission CANNOT be vendor-focused and those most likely to be chosen will use a solution that can either be created in-house or that many different vendors can provide.  Vendors are not allowed to submit or present innovations.

The three 45-minute sessions will be held concurrently during the NAACOS Spring 2020 Conference, April 1-3 at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor.  There will be up to 3 short presentations for each panel with time for Q&A.  Each presenter will receive complimentary registration to the conference.  Please note, the submitter is the assumed presenter and only one person may present.

All best practices must be submitted by employees of ACOs. Vendors/Partners are not eligible to submit.

If you have any questions about the submission process, please contact Anna LaFayette or call (202) 640-2492.
