Accountable care organizations (ACOs) are incentivized to improve quality while controlling costs, and the upfront investments that ACOs make to provide coordinated, whole-person care make them uniquely poised to address health equity. While there are significant barriers to addressing health equity issues, many ACOs are undertaking a range of efforts to close health equity gaps and meet patients' nonmedical needs in order to improve their health and well-being. In this webinar, leading ACOs will share how they are engaging in equity-focused initiatives, and reflect on challenges and lessons learned through planning and implementation.
