A Playbook for the Future of Sustainable Value-Based Care and Payment 

AHIP, the American Medical Association, and NAACOS established a collaboration to identify principles and voluntary best practices to foster sustainable success in value-based care. In the first phase of the effort, we focused on data sharing, as a fundamental building block of value-based care. In the full report, five key areas of opportunity emerged:
